I strained my back again so I purchased another one in a smaller size. Wearing this has made my life bearable again and I don't need to take Advil anymore. It inspired me to alter the first one I bought which I did. If I had to buy another one, I'd buy a size smaller still. I thought I took an XL but a Med would do the trick. I have found the best way to put this on is to pull it around to see how tight you want it. Make note of where the binder overlaps. Move the binder down below you knees and over lap it to your desired size so the velcro closure is smooth. Pull up over the hips
